The best pet corner in your home: what makes it work?

What makes it useful for your pet? A familiar blanket? An easy route around the furniture? A quiet spot where nobody steps over them?

A helpful post can be wonderfully simple: one photo, your pet's species and approximate size, the space you had to work with, and one thing you learned. Tell us what was awkward, too. A setup that did not quite work can save someone else a lot of trial and error.
